Expanding to Meet Growing Demand
To meet evolving needs and enhance the organization’s impact, Holy Angels is expanding its campus by an additional 4.5 acres adjacent to its current site. This expansion is guided by a visionary master plan developed in partnership with the Boomerang Design team. The Children’s Campus Expansion will introduce innovative facilities and improved services. These enhancements will enable Holy Angels to reach more individuals, offer advanced therapies and accommodations, and expand community outreach. This initiative will further advance the organization’s mission to transform lives.
Resident-Focused Residential Care Facilities
Innovative Care Environment
Phase 1 features three state-of-the-art, six-bed homes tailored for children with complex medical needs. These residential care facilities leverage advanced medical technology, adaptive layouts, and fully accessible features to create a nurturing environment. Serving 18 children in total, the design prioritizes warmth, safety, and support, ensuring each child feels at home. Common areas, including a living room with a serving kitchen and a spacious serving island, foster interaction and connection among residents.
Thoughtful Interior Design
The homes’ interior features and furnishings were specifically designed and selected to meet the needs of Holy Angels residents and staff, creating comfortable, inclusive, and immersive experiences. Bedrooms include ample storage and allow families to customize the space to better suit their loved ones’ preferences, further promoting a sense of ownership and comfort.
Efficient Medical Care
In addition to creating a welcoming atmosphere, the homes are engineered to facilitate effective medical treatment. Key design elements include widened door frames that enable seamless movement of medical equipment between rooms and two custom bed types designed for maximum resident comfort and safety. These features not only support the provision of care but also enhance the overall quality of life for both residents and staff, allowing for a more efficient and compassionate treatment process.
A Dazzling New Community Center
Phase 1 of the project also introduces an impressive 11,500-square-foot Community Center located on the Holy Angels Treescape Campus. This new facility is designed to serve as a vibrant social and spiritual hub for the Holy Angels’ community, fostering connections among residents and offering a variety of programs and activities.
